Since we are taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it is V's favorite meal of any day, we would like to be able to stick with our own tradition for this situation, as we will need energy for our itinerary. A coffee and pastry probably won't suffice.

Italians enjoy going out for a good steak, but a steak in Italy isn’t necessarily an individual slab. Yes, there is the famous Florentine bistecca, a large T-bone steak served blood rare. But just as often, restaurants offer a sliced steak, called tagliata, essentially a nice thick piece of beef that is grilled, then carved. It’s simple and delicious but impressive nonetheless, and often peppered with Italian herbs and spices - juicy and tender, with the flavors developed fully. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

Luggage - Sort Of We will definitely need new luggage for our honeymoon, but we are aiming for something a little bit different than standard luggage (which we already have).
We are going to need a set of rack-pack/hiking backpacks that will fit all of our travel necessities, but not be so awkward that it would be difficult to drag this up multiple flights of stairs (in areas where there are no elevators), or wheel across cobblestone roads. While we need strong packs, we also want to keep these under the carry-on size limit, as we do not plan to check luggage on our trip. We will also need these to be comfortable to walk all over the place with, without inducing asthma or pulling anyone's back out.
If you'd like to help us select something like this, we can always use it for our next trip too! We'd list the specifics, but it will depend on which airline we book.
