I can still remember the first time I saw Doug, standing across the way at a friend's wedding. Doug introduced himself, and after the casual chatting we went our separate ways. For the rest of the evening, we found ourselves locking eyes on more than one occasion, but the reception flew by and was over before we had the chance to talk again. The next morning my friend and I walked into the hotel restaurant for breakfast and saw Doug sitting by the window. He waved us over and invited us to join his table. We ended up spending the rest of the weekend together. The weekend flew by and soon enough we were on different coasts but a few days later, my phone rang and it was him! We spent hours chatting and from that day on we talked on the phone daily, wrote endless letters back and forth and saw each other on occasion. We fell in love that first weekend and throughout the years our love for each other has continued to grow! He is my best friend and together we have been through so much. We couldn't even begin to imagine what life would be like without one another!

Our ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue on February 24, 2012.  We will be getting married at the Watermill Caterers in Smithtown, New York (Long Island).  Our ceremony starts at 6pm, cocktail hour starts at 6:45 pm and the reception starts at 7:45pm!  Please note that this is a Black Tie wedding.

Directions from L.I. Expressway (Heading East)
Take L.I. Expressway Eastbound to Exit 56 (Route 111) North for 2 miles, to Route 347. Make right onto Route 347, heading east for 2 miles. The Watermill is on the right-hand side, on the corner of Route 347 and Terry Road (Route 16).

Directions from L.I. Expressway (Heading West)
Take L.I. Expressway Westbound to Exit 62 (Nicolls Road) North for 6 miles, to Route 347. Turn left onto Route 347 (West) for 4 miles to the Watermill on left, on the corner of Route 347 and Terry Road (Route 16).

Directions from Northern State Parkway
Take Northern State Parkway East to end, where it merges onto highway with 2 names (Route 347 & 454). Continue east for 2 miles to fork. Bear left, staying on Route 347 for 3 miles. The Watermill is on the right-hand side, on the corner of Route 347 and Terry Road (Route 16).

Directions from Southern State Parkway
Take Southern State Parkway to the Sagtikos Parkway North for 6 miles, to the Northern State Parkway Eastbound. Follow directions from Northern State Parkway.
